I had previously taken this class, but didn't pass it, so I had to retake it since it's for my major.
Last time I took this class, we had an end of the semester project where we had to choose an article of clothing and then find out what time period it was from, the name, what it was made out of, if it was lactose intolerant or not...
(Ok, that last one was obviously a joke. But we had to figure out a lot of information about one thing!)
PLUS, we had to make a window display and display care for it.
Needless to say, it was a tedious project.
THANKFULLY, this go around, she let the class opt to write a research paper on someone/something that changed/impacted the fashion industry.
I chose Christian Dior. I knew nothing about him before this research project. I am so glad I chose him because he was a phenomenal man and greatly impacted the fashion industry with the New Look!
