National Siblings Day.

Today was National Siblings Day!
Most of the "National" days I feel are really stupid and someone clearly just pulled out of their butt (National Increase Your Psychic Power Day, for example.....)

But this one is great!
I love, love, LOVE my sisters' so very much. They may do things that I don't agree with at all, but at the end of the day, they're my baby sisters' and I love them.

I have 2 biological sisters named Courtny and Breanna.
Courtny is 17 months younger than me (so she's 21) and we're real close. Everything thinks we're twins and sometimes I think of ourselves as twins.
Breanna is the baby in the family. She's 18 and a little spitfire. I love her though (well most days anyways haha).
My baby, baby sister is Arianna. She actually turned 6 just yesterday!
Arianna is actually my cousin, but we started taking care of her from the time she was 14 months old until she was 5 and a half. My aunt was able to start taking care of her again, so she's living with her again!
Ari is a little butt most of the time, but I love her SO much! That little girl changed my life (for the better) forever.

I love my sisters so much and am so blessed to have them in my life!
I can't wait until December when I can see all of them!

Here are some pictures of us!

Bedroom.

In my last post, I showed pictures of my house.
Some of you may be wondering why I didn't include pictures of my bedroom.
Well you see, it's a work in progress.
I went from sleeping on an air mattress on the floor with a wall lined with boxes and nothing hanging on the walls, to an air mattress on a twin bed frame with a wall lined with boxes with some things hanging on the walls.

So it went from this:

To this!

I still need to buy more shelving and a desk. Oh and paint my bed frame black. But it's definitely coming along!

Here are some more pictures of my bedroom. Enjoy! =)

One wall.

Closet and other wall.

The other wall again.

My Paris wall. =)

New curtains!

How the wall with the closet looks now!
My door!

Write again soon!

First house and first car!

Upon returning to school, I was able to check two things off of my bucket list!

1.) To get my first car

and

2.) To have my own house!

My friend, Esther, let me purchase her old '91 Honda Civic. It gets me from point A to point B. It's definitely been an interesting experience because the car is a manual. I've never driven a manual in my life! I definitely stalled it in the middle of an intersection a couple times, but I think I've finally mastered how to drive a stick shift (well hopefully).

I'm living in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house with a lovely gal named Katie. She posted an ad on Pipeline in the spring about the house and I responded immediately. It's a really nice house with a huge kitchen, nice living room, and 2 spacious bedrooms. It's definitely way cheaper than living on campus.

Here are some pictures of my house and car!

Her name is Rory.
Had to grace my car with an Oregon Ducks bumper sticker!
Car and house key!
Front of house shot.
Lovely living room.
Ginormous kitchen.
Dining area!
Oh yeah. Awkward bathroom shot.

Till next time!
